Firstly the new Kid Tough Digital Camera from Fisher Price is a a great improvement on previous versions. It is now a lot more solid and can also take being dropped on the ground but can also survive in up to 3 feet of water. Major improvement!
Fisher Price really have listened to previous owners of the original version and have pulled out all the stops to improve what was already a 'good' little digital camera for kids.
They have also included a dual eye viewer and also enlarged the LCD Colour Display where you can see the pictures taken. Plus you can also delete them, just like a normal adult digital camera.

Detailed Fisher Price Camera Review
Lots of pople have been recommending the Fisher Price Camera so I thought it was time to 'splash the cash' and get one for my 5 year old girl. She loves to be creative and when I gave her this camera on her birthday she was absolutely delighted, especially as it was also the Pink version for girls.
Out of the box it took just a few minutes to install the batteries, included. And after a few instructions, although she had pretty much worked it out herself in a few minutes, she was off taking pictures of everyone and everything.
One of the first things you notice on ANY kids camera in this price range is the quality of the pictures. They are quite grainy but for most kids the quality is certainly adequate enough and the balace between form and function is just about right for this camera.
On numerous occassions she dropped the camera, not only just out fo the hands onto the carpet but also down the last few steps on our stairs. As its first full 'bump' test I was impressed that it started up first time and continued to work fine.
I was also told by my wife that she had the Fisher Price Camera outside at the start of a rain shower and had been there for a few minutes. Once again the camera started up fine and a few weeks later still hasn't show any sign of damage.
The flash is just about ok. Once again, I wasn't expecting it to shoot long range and was more than adequate for my little girl to take a few close up photos of our dog outside at night.
Overall while doing the Fisher Price Camera Review I was think there may be a few more begative things to say about the camera but after 5 months it is still going strong. Highly recommended.
